Data Point: D vs. R

A new book by ALAN S. BLINDER says that the United States economy has grown faster, on average, under Democratic presidents than under Republicans.

Also, income inequality trended substantially upward under Republican presidents but slightly downward under Democrats, producing widening income gaps over all.
