A Repeat Recommendation
In the past I've recommended the growing list of interactive online applications being developed by Google. The list just keeps on growing. There are now more than 40 "programs" listed by Google at

and and over 300 "gadgets" available in iGoogle at

I've used about 10 of the programs, including iGoogle, Blogger, Docs, Picassa, and Earth, and about 30 of the iGoogle gadgets, and find them fun and useful. You may want to check them out.

Yes! The Blogger interface is compatible with Mac browsers.
Some Mac users, like me, are using Safari, which does not support the hyperlink buttons function in the posting screen. I lack the patience to link by entering tags manually.
For the first year I owned this Mac, I was refraining from installing anything, but I may downlad the latest version of Firefox for the Mac and go with that.
Other Google tools that you repeated recommend are likewise designed to provide limited functionality to Mac Safari users.
