The other night while I was talking to Shawn on the phone, I had to sneeze. He was listening to TV at the time. My sneeze changed the channel on HIS Television.

(Babs): This HAS to go  down in Family Lore. First entry for a Malone Family Lore blog?

Sometimes you want to play a video from YouTube in your Blog.

Here's one easy way:
Just change the YouTube URL: as explained in this video, and forget all the stuff about PowerPoint (unless you want to do that too).

(or just look at the HTML of this post, and compare the URL with the one you find on YouTube, and change yours the same way.)

Here's a good idea

The St. Petersburg Times has set up an "Obamameter" to track progress on the more than 500 campaign promises made by President Obama during his campaign.

I applaud them for building and following the list, and him for making the commitments.

News Readers and Feeds: Google Reader

Here's a link to a YouTube Video Tutorial which describes Google Reader and a bit about how to use it: Reader Video
I use Google Reader on my iGoogle home page to keep up with my incoming Gmail. I'm sure there are much more sophisticated ways to use it.
I thought this video might be of interest to you. Feeds are a fairly new and developing technique with importance in marketing on the web.
